About History Graphics Press
History Graphics Press was conceived in 2008 by two long time comic book professionals, Chuck Dixon and Gary Kwapisz, to publish entertaining, historically accurate graphic novels set against the background of American history. With the example of the old EC Comics in mind, they planned modern graphic novels that were character driven and using the best art and stories available to draw the reader into the history and make the past come to life.
Frustrated in their attempts to convince other publishers of their genius, they decided to publish their own books! (Thereby calling into question their genius!)
Civil War Adventures is their first book and the first in a series of graphic novels on the American Civil War.
Their future plans are to do more series exploring other aspects of American history.
